"Bouquet of flowers"....are there any so lovely as garden peonies? A bouquet of spring sunshine, dewy and fresh scented...an ant crawling within the petals. How I anticipate the first blooms of the season. How I love their fragrance. How I ache for them! Last spring I brought a bunch home from the farmers market and spent the afternoon with paint and canvas as the flowers wilted before my very eyes. After a few hours, my work looked ....hmmm...festively Spanish??....somewhat like the bright tissue paper flowers of a Mexican holiday?? Hola ramo de flores!!
